Tucker Carlson refers to Obama as 'Greasy Politician' accuses Democrats of everything Trump and Republicans are currently doing (VIDEO)
Fox News host Tucker Carlson went on another rant Thursday night while talking about former President Barack Obama's Eulogy at the funeral of civil rights icon John Lewis, the longtime Georgia congressman who died earlier this month at the age of 80.
Carlson started of his diatribe by complaining that the Black lives Matter movement isn't about anything other than a Democratic power grab. "The liberal mom who lives next door to you for example...she has no idea BLM is about anything else. We're not judging." Carlson started. It went quickly downhill from there.
"None of what you are watching is about Civil Rights. Violence and race bating are the enemies of civil rights. What you're watching instead is a power grab. It's being coordinated by the most ruthless and cynical figures in American politics. They don't want you to know what they're doing. They're not honorable enough to state their intentions." Carlson went on.
Carlson then described the Trump playbook in precise detail. However, he was talking about the Democratic party.
"They're not like you at all. When normal people want something, they can be aggressive. But the professional left never is. It's invariably passive aggressive. Their first instinct is to manipulate rather that persuade. They hide their real beliefs. They say precisely the opposite of what they mean every time. They accuse you of the crimes they themselves are committing. It makes your head spin. Arguing with them is pointless by the way. They're nhialists. They don't believe in the exhistence of truth or in the fixed meaning of words. They care only about power."
Carlson then moved on to Obama and the John Lewis funeral. Obama, in his eulogy to his friend and idol, said the best way to honor Lewis would be action on voting rights, one of the Democratic congressman’s core issues and a cause he risked his life to advance.
“If you want to honor John, let’s honor him by revitalizing the law that he was willing to die for,” Obama said. He also called for an end to gerrymandering, often done to disenfranchise Black voters, as well as the filibuster, which he called a Jim Crow-era relic.
But Carlson called Obama’s eulogy “a divisive and deeply dishonest campaign speech.”
“It’s hard to believe that clip is real, but it is, down to the cloying fake accent, Mr. Hawaii Guy,” Carlson said, adding:
“Imagine if some greasy politician showed up at your loved one’s funeral and started throwing around stupid partisan talking points about Senate procedure. Can you imagine that? You would be shocked if that happened. You’d probably walk out. Desecrating a funeral with campaign slogans? What kind of person would do that?”
