Trump's press secretary: 'I will never lie to you.' Then lies just a few minutes later (VIDEO)

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who has only been in the job since April 7, 2020, and is taking over a role which hasn't done an official press briefing with the American public in over a year, stepped up to the podium on Friday.

She pledged to never lie, among other things.

"I will never lie to you. You have my word on that."

She also said she planned on continuing future briefings, reversing the president's strategy. Maybe those new poll numbers which were reported to cause Trump to rage at his campaign manager are causing a change of tactics?

Not long after making the "I won't lie" statement, McEnany misquoted FBI notes that Trump is misleadingly hyping up as bombshell evidence exonerating former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

You can compare what she said to what the notes actually say.

It looks like her promise to not lie didn't last very long.

She was then asked about the recent allegations from Tara Reade made against Joe Biden and compared them to the one's made against the president in the past from women.

In defining her answer, she clearly stated without flinching that "the president has swiftly denied all of these allegations that were raised four years ago. He's always told the truth on these issues."

Of course, we know that's not true. This is an issue that has been talked about extensively. Trump lied directly on camera when asked about the Stormy Daniels affair, claiming he had no knowledge of any payments made to her. Trump's own past lawyer, Michael Cohen, verified this.
