WATCH: Trump's Press Conference Gets Derailed - He Gets Into Shouting Match With Reporters
President Donald Trump's press conference held just one day after the midterm elections has quickly turned into a fiasco.
The exchanges were rather tense, to put it lightly.
Trump's first confrontation happened with CNN Correspondent Jim Acosta. Trump told him: "Honestly, I think you should let me run the country. You should run CNN."
That's when one of Trump's female aides tried to force the microphone out of Acosta's hands. She briefly walked away for a second, but the CNN host refused to be ignored.
That's when Trump lost his patience. "That's enough! Put down the mic!"
As if that wasn't enough, another reporter stood up for Jim saying that he was a good reporter and then President Trump proceeded to attack him, too.
"Well, I'm not a big fan of yours, either," Trump said, to much laughter and shock.
CNN's Jim Acosta again stood up and him and Trump continued to go at it: "Just sit down! When you report Fake News, which CNN does a lot, you are the enemy of the people."
Trump was later asked in the press conference if he would try to block Democrats from getting his tax returns.
ABC News' @jonkarl: "Point blank. Democrats go after your tax returns, will you try to block that?"
President Trump: "Look, as I've told you, they're under audit, they have been for a long time, they're extremely complex, people wouldn't understand them" https://t.co/QKK9VJ0K1i pic.twitter.com/axZlJCWrbA
