Trump threatens to veto Military spending bill to protect confederate statues
Donald Trump, using one of his go-to racial slurs, threatened to veto the Defense Authorization Bill on Tuesday night. Taking to Twitter, Trump vowed to veto the bill if it contained any language involved in the changing of confederate statues.
Referring to Senator Elizabeth Warren as "Pocahontas", Trump seemed more preoccupied with protecting the legacy of men involved in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of American soldiers all in the name of slavery.
This threat to defund the military also comes at a time while the country, and the military, are still trying to get to the bottom of the Russian bounty on American soldiers in Afghanistan.
I will Veto the Defense Authorization Bill if the Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren (of all people!) Amendment, which will lead to the renaming (plus other bad things!) of Fort Bragg, Fort Robert E. Lee, and many other Military Bases from which we won Two World Wars, is in the Bill!

Once again, Donald Trump has shown that he cares more about the White Supremacist roots of the United States than its current citizens or soldiers.
