Trump storms out of his own meeting like a little baby after lawmakers tell him no

President Donald Trump has been trying his best to appear calm and collected throughout this government shutdown process. So far, he hasn't been doing a very good job at it.

Today at the White House lawmakers convened to hold a meeting on the government shutdown with the president and shortly afterwards he stormed out because he was told no.

After media reports came out about him walking out, Trump fired off another tweet confirming the incident.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer spoke to reporters after Trump walked out and delivered the following statement about the Situation Room meeting:

"We just saw a temper tantrum" from the president because "he didn't get his way."

"I asked him to open up the government. Tomorrow so many people will have trouble paying their mortgages, paying their bills, dealing with situations where they won't get paid. I asked, why won't you do that? I said we're willing to discuss anything."

Trump is still threatening to declare a national emergency and build the wall using the military but has stated that he would try to talk with lawmakers first. That hasn't proven very fruitful so far.
