Trump Pulling U.S. Out of Human Rights Council At U.N.
President Trump is planning on pulling out of the Human Rights Council at the United Nations according to Reuters and the Associated Press.
A source told the organization that a withdrawal was "imminent" but had no details beyond that.
Diplomatic sources said it wasn't a question on if the United States would leave the Human Rights Council but of when.
The first session at the Geneva forum will start on Monday and will last three weeks.
Trump and Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador of the United Nations are reportedly following through on a threat they made a year ago when they said they might leave the historic body unless a "chronic anti-Israel bias" was removed.
If Trump leaves, this will be just the latest rejection of allies of the United States - further isolating us on the world stage.
