Trump Lawyers Make Announcement: Mueller Should Be Suspended By Tomorrow (VIDEO)
President Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani made quite the announcement on Fox News Thursday night, saying in essence that "Mueller should be suspended" by tomorrow.
Key point: When you listen to Giuliani's words, it sounds like he is carrying a message directly from President Trump, instructing them to do it.
"I believe that Rod Rosenstein and Jeff Sessions have a chance to redeem themselves, and that chance comes about tomorrow. It doesn't go beyond tomorrow.
Tomorrow, Mueller should be suspended. And honest people should be brought in, impartial people."
Let's discuss what we just heard: Giuliani, the right hand man for the president, and a key figure on his legal team, is saying that they can "redeem" themselves in the presidents eyes if they just do this one thing for him, which in other words, would be considered obstruction of justice if Trump did it himself. That's why he hasn't.
He also called for the jailing of Peter Strzok by the end of the end of the week.
What Giuliani didn't do, however, is provide a basis for why these two things should happen.

Giuliani merely spoke off the cuff and seemed to try and talk up the Inspector General Report that was released earlier in the day.
While the report cited former FBI Director James Comey as making a few mistakes (one being that he shouldn't have told the public they were temporarily re-opening an investigation into Clinton), it also said that there was no evidence of bias inside the FBI against Trump.
Giuliani's talk was just that, all talk.
Still - if President Trump was the one behind Giuliani's media spectacle, calling for Mueller's suspension, this is a much bigger story than it sounds like on the surface.
