Trump kept insulting reporters so bad during briefing that networks had to turn their cameras off (VIDEO)
President Donald Trump's Coronavirus Task Force briefing at the White House on Monday got hot and heated when Trump started to insult reporters, forcing MSNBC and CNN to stop broadcasting the spectacle.
Trump (in one instance) was called out by a reporter for not preparing hospitals, or ramping up testing, so he started attacking her.
"You're so disgraceful. It's so disgraceful the way you say that." Trump appeared more heated than he normally does.
It took Trump awhile to first understand that the reporter was talking about the administration's inaction the entire month of February. Instead of mentioning specific things he and his administration did to prepare for the pandemic, he got mad and said "we did a lot." That's when he lost his cool some more.
"Look, look, look, you know you're a fake. You know that. The whole network the way you cover it is fake, and most of you (but not all of you), but the people are wise to you, that's why you have a lower approval rating than you've ever had before...times probably three."
If this wasn't enough, Trump then blamed former President Obama for the fact that he didn't replenish the national stockpile of ventilators or masks the entire first three years he's been in office so far.
"I, and my administration, inherited a stockpile where the cupboards were bare. There was nothing. I'll say it, and I'll say it again, just like we didn't have ammunition, we didn't have medical supplies, we didn't have ventilators, we didn't have a lot of things that should have been had."
