Trump Just Performed An Onstage Rant Mocking What It Means To Be President (VIDEO)
President Donald Trump took to the stage in Tampa, Florida to support Rep. Ron DeSantis in his run for Florida Governor during a campaign-style rally.
After DeSantis gave a short speech, Trump took over and started unleashing his usual attacks on the "Fake News" media.
One moment that stood out was when Trump started mocking past presidents for acting "presidential."
"It's a lot easier to act presidential than to do what I do. Anybody can act presidential."
Trump then straightened his posture and made fun of the idea of what being a president means. He walked around in a geeky-like way before returning to the podium to do a one-person skit:
"Ladies and gentleman of the state of Florida, thank you very much for being here. You are tremendous people. And, I will leave now because I am boring you to death. Thank you."
Trump indicates he still hasn't figured out that polling didn't even exist during Abe Lincoln's lifetime. He then mocks other presidents for acting "presidential." pic.twitter.com/BeL1CrnCY1— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) July 31, 2018
Trump then stopped his skit and said he could be "more presidential than any president in history except for possibly Abraham Lincoln, with the big hat."
Before Trump took the stage, Trump's supporters started heckling CNN's Jim Acosta, who was preparing to do a shoot, shouting "traitor" at him, and "you're a liar."
In other news: Today, Trump's former Campaign Manager Paul Manafort, started day one of deliberations in his trial for tax evasion and bank fraud.
Manafort is accused of lying to the U.S. government about $60 million in compensation he received overseas in an attempt to reportedly avoid paying taxes. His defense lawyers say his business partner Rick Gates, who was an aide in the Trump campaign, is to blame.
