Trump Jr. just accused Biden of crimes against children - but when confronted swears he's just 'joking'
Donald Trump Jr. was called out for accusing Joe Biden of crimes against children on Saturday, even though there's simply no evidence to suggest such a thing.
Here is a post that he was caught putting up on Instagram:
He even backed away from his "joke" when confronted about it. He now insists he was merely kidding and it was all in good fun.
"The 3 (laughing) emojis in the caption should indicate to anyone with a scintilla of common sense that I’m joking around.
If the media doesn’t want people mocking & making jokes about how creepy Joe is, then maybe he should stop the unwanted touching & keep his hands to himself?"
The dangerous thing about this is that Trump's followers believe this 'fake news.' Even though Trump Jr. took back the claim, he later kept at it again. So much for only joking.
He kept replaying innocent videos of Biden in the Senate interacting with children as if that was somehow evidence of any wrong doing, videos that have been in circulation for many years.
The @nytimes is right. There’s NOTHING CREEPY at all about how @JoeBiden interacts with the kids in this 4+ min long video.— Donald Trump Jr. (@DonaldJTrumpJr) May 16, 2020
All the touching & hair sniffing is TOTALLY APPROPRIATE & 100% NORMAL. Everyone does it!
I'm a bad person for mocking him & thinking it's disgusting!!!🙄 pic.twitter.com/DgQOnaK8q6
While this has been a joke about Biden for quite a while now, the Trump's appear to be upping up their level of accusations in hopes that more Americans buy into it. This is the Trump playbook for trying to win back the presidency.
