Trump is having a very hard time pronouncing words today (VIDEO)
President Donald Trump is not having an easy time speaking today.
First on the White House lawn he flubbed the word "absurd" and said "ubsurd."
Then he hopped on Air Force One to give a speech at the AMVETS convention in Louisville, Kentucky. On stage, "Armed Forces" became "Armed Forca."
He just looked like he kept having trouble with it, like there was something else going on besides just a simple mispronunciation.
Is he just having trouble reading the teleprompter?
"Appliculble," came next.
"Obstulcles" was his next one.
We are sensing a trend here.
It's not fun to make fun of cognitive decline, if that is the case here, but the sad thing is that's precisely what Trump does to his political opponents.
Just a few days ago, Trump was laughing at Joe Biden for making similar misstatements while giving speeches.
“Joe Biden has truly lost his fastball,” Trump said on Wednesday.
On Friday, he said “Joe is not playing with a full deck” and that “something’s going wrong with him.”
And Saturday, Trump tweeted that “Joe doesn’t have a clue!” and questioned whether he “is mentally fit to be president.”
Biden isn't really concerned with the gaffes, from him or Trump, and chooses to focus in on what's more important in all of this: honesty.
“I am a gaffe machine,” Biden said last year. “But, my God, what a wonderful thing compared to a guy who can’t tell the truth.”
Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, though, who has gotten into it with Trump in recent days, swears Trump is going crazy.
“He’s mentally declining,” Scaramucci said. “He’s losing his step here in terms of how he’s thinking about human beings, and he’s creating a corrosive, socially dividing cancer in the country that’s not worth the economics.”
Former Trump communications staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman says she has witnessed it close-up, claiming she first “realized that something real and serious was going on in Donald's brain,” adding, “His mental decline could not be denied.” She says since she spent time with him on The Apprentice, there is a noticeable difference between how he acted then and today.
