Trump is now threatening to wipe out Iranian culture in latest rant
President Donald Trump has the world on alert now. He's now openly saying that he has no problem taking out "Iranian culture."
In an outburst on Saturday evening, Trump wrote:
"Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader who had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently....
....hundreds of Iranian protesters. He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years. Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have.....
...targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!"
This hardly is comparable to similar rhetoric he had in the past with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un. This time around, there is the immediate and reliable threat that Iran will retaliate for taking out it's second most powerful person in the country, General Soleimani. It would be shocking if Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei backs down now after saying there will be "harsh revenge."
Reports already indicate that Iran is upping its readiness status to launch short and medium-range ballistic missiles.
How Iran chooses to respond is anyone's guess at this point, but now Trump is saying openly that if they do anything, he will unleash the full force of the U.S. military.
The odd thing is, protesters in both Iran and America are condemning the attack on Iran's General.

Thousands did the same in Iran, understandably.
