Trump is now complaining about Obama playing golf in retirement
President Trump doesn't think its fair that people are criticizing him for playing golf. On Tuesday, he complained about former President Obama playing golf and getting a pass for it from the media, despite the fact that Obama is retired.
"Didn’t Obama, whose Administration has now been caught cold illegally spying on the Trump campaign, recently also get caught playing golf on a course in Virginia, despite his wife Michelle urging people to stay home, before and after his round, in a major public service message?"
What Trump fails to mention is that he himself loved to criticize Obama for playing golf while he was still serving as president and he was a reality TV star.
Bradley P. Moss, a national security lawyer, had a pretty good response to this:
"I’ll make you a deal: Obama will come back and do the actual job of a president, and you can spend the next 7 months on the golf course as much as you want. Deal?"
Trump wasn't allowed to play during the pandemic and received a flurry of criticism over the weekend for playing golf for two straight days, while the coronavirus death toll reached nearly 100,000 in the United States.
Everyone knows Trump has golfed at a much higher frequency than Obama ever did, and Obama served two terms as president. This has been reported on extensively by the media. Trump might not get that same opportunity, though.
