Trump Gives Justice Kavanaugh An Apology On Behalf Of The Entire United States
President Trump is holding a second (yes, as if one wasn't enough) swearing-in ceremony for Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Our nation's newly minted Justice received the informal swearing-in just hours after the Senate voted 50-48 on Saturday, two days ago.
Trump kicked off the day with a cocktail party. The Marine band and White House advisors were in attendance.
If that wasn't enough, Trump, before having Kavanaugh take his oath of office, wanted to take a few moments to apologize on behalf of the entire nation,"for the terrible pain and suffering you have been forced to endure."
Nothing was said about Dr. Ford or sexual assault victims.

Shortly afterwards, Kavanaugh took to the podium to voice a few words of his own, thanking President Trump "for the great honor to serve" on the Supreme Court.
