Trump: We need to stop babies from being born at the ninth month mark (VIDEO)
President Donald Trump is now coming out against childbirth occurring in the ninth month of pregnancy. He wants to stop it.
"Right now in a number of states, the laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother's womb in the 9th month. It is wrong. It has to change."
The comments are sparking a lot of controversy, confusion, and ridicule.
Many people aren't even sure what he's even talking about. So, "is Trump calling for forced abortions here or is he wanting to delay births until the 10th month?" wrote Jon Cooper, Chairman of the Democratic Coalition.
Retired educator Art Dulong, a former coach and teacher, commented:
"OK, I need help again. Trump says that laws that allow babies to be born from their mother’s womb during the ninth month need to be changed. What the hell is he talking about? Does he understand that being born is different from being aborted? Sometimes he’s just plain stupid."
Trump can't just stop babies from being born. Is Trump going to make expecting mothers to just hold the baby in?
The length of a normal pregnancy lasts anywhere from 37 weeks to 42 weeks. That creates a five-week period where anything can happen. Any time in between this is considered normal in the medical community.
Once again - these decisions need to be between women and their doctors, not Republican men on Capitol Hill.
Remember that time Trump joked about kicking a baby out of the room while he was talking?
