Thanos creator speaks out in disgust after Trump casts himself as the villain in new campaign video
President Donald Trump's new campaign ad casts himself as the chief villain Thanos from the Avengers: Endgame movie.
The comic book writer and creator of Thanos, Jim Starlin, saw what Trump did and was immediately disgusted. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, he said:
"After my initial feeling of being violated, seeing that pompous fool using my creation to stroke his infantile ego, it finally struck me that the leader of my country and the free world actually enjoys comparing himself to a mass murderer. How sick is that? These are sad and strange times we are going through. Fortunately all things, even national nightmares, eventually come to an end."
The video has already been viewed millions of times on social media.

In the video, you can see Trump's face implanted over the body of Thanos. Then a scene showing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and other house leaders has them evaporating into thin air, in much the same way people mysteriously went missing in the End Game movie.
Trump released the campaign video just hours after Democrats announced articles of impeachment against the president.
