Trump advisor gets embarrassed in live hearing: "Have you even read the Constitution?" (VIDEO)

Brian Hook, who serves as U.S. Special Representative for Iran and Senior Policy Advisor to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, was admonished in front of a live hearing of Congress today after he repeatedly refused to answer a very simple question on the U.S. Constitution. It was so simple, the fact that he kept refusing to answer borders on the line of absurdity.

Ted Lieu repeatedly asked Brian Hook if the Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war, and Hook would not say "yes." Lieu said this is "not a trick question" but Hook did not answer.

We found a video of it, too.

He just kept shaking his head and when he decided not to answer after several attempts, Lieu had to say: "Mr. Hook, have you read the Constitution?"

This prompted Hook to say he had read the Constitution, but again, he didn't want to admit that Congress had the power to declare war. That's probably because the Trump administration didn't want him to.

You really should watch this. Lieu had to do the unthinkable and submit the U.S. Constitution for the record, which has probably rarely ever been done before. It was totally embarrassing.
