Ted Cruz Gets Forced Out Of Restaurant (VIDEO)

Senator Ted Cruz was forced to leave a restaurant in Washington D.C. on Monday night after protesters brought up his friendship with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

A video of the encounter went viral, showing Cruz and his wife both being chased out of the restaurant by protesters yelling: “We believe survivors!”

A funny mention: A man tells Cruz that Beto O’Rourke, the Democrat running against him is "way hotter" than him.

Cruz was respectable at this point during the incident: he told the crowd "God bless you" while asking that people make way for his wife to leave the restaurant.

A second clip of the incident shows a sexual assault survivor, claiming to be a constituent of his, asking Cruz if he "believes survivors." Cruz simply walks away and ignores her.

Since Monday, protesters have been gathering outside Ted Cruz's office in Austin in support of Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, who say that Kavanaugh has sexually assaulted them.

Cruz is as influential member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and will vote on Kavanaugh's confirmation.
