Sarah Sanders holds fake press briefing...with kids. Hasn't held adult meeting in 45 days.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has all but abandoned briefing the press.
Though she's refused to hold a White House press briefing for 45 days — shirking the responsibility taxpayers pay her to do — on Thursday, she held a fake briefing for reporters' kids on Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
That means a bunch of children have had more of an opportunity to ask Sanders questions than reporters have had, despite there being numerous major events that the White House should have had to answer for — notably, the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's bombshell report that showed Trump tried to obstruct justice on multiple occasions.
The report also showed that Sanders admitted to investigators that she lied to reporters about why Trump fired FBI Director James Comey. But she has yet to face questions from reporters in the briefing room about both the report and her lies.
She did sit for an interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, in which she showed zero remorse for her lies and even claimed the reason she can't tell the truth is because she's not a Democrat — apparently insinuating that all Republicans are liars while Democrats tell the truth.
Since the release of the Mueller report, Sanders has spewed more vicious lies, including against reporters, showing she has chosen to stick to her old ways rather than repent and change.
Ridiculously, Sanders tried to make the briefing off the record, so the public wouldn't know what a bunch of cute children asked her. Apparently, Sanders is afraid to answer questions even from kids.
Reporters declined to keep the "briefing" off the record, though, and reported that most of the questions were totally benign, including her "favorite color" and "favorite dinosaur."
However, according to reporter Zeke Miller, one of the children asked Sanders about Trump's child separation policy. Sanders responded yet another lie, saying that Trump wants to "keep families together."

At the end of the fake briefing, reporters tried to ask when she would hold a press briefing for "real reporters."
She refused to answer.
