Not a single person claps for VP Mike Pence. This is the 2nd time on his trip (VIDEO)
For the second straight time on his overseas trip to Europe, Vice President Mike Pence was left standing on the stage applause-less.
While speaking in Poland, Pence paused to allow for people to clap, but no one did. Times are tough for Trump's second in command
Here's what he said:
"the time has come for our European partners to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal."
No one in the room agreed with him.
This wouldn't have been so bad if Pence hadn't also went through a similar experience at one of his earlier stops at a security conference in Munich.
Here, he mentioned that he was bringing greetings from President Trump, and the room went completely silent. Here, too, he waited for someone to clap, and it simply didn't happen.
What makes this one even more brutal, though, is that this happened at the very beginning of the speech. He had to muster the courage to look these people in the face for 12 more minutes, and there was a lot of people in the audience.
You'd think at least a few Trumpers would have been in there, but alas, it wasn't to be.
The funniness of this aside, this should let Pence know that the world is not with him or his boss. Abandoning a deal that former President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry worked really hard on, which threatens war with Iran instead of peace is not only really dumb, but really bad politics.
