Nevada Pimp Wins GOP Primary, Thanks His Mentor President Trump

A Nevada pimp has just won the Republican primary, defeating three-term lawmaker James Oscarson, a hospital executive.

Dennis Hof, who owns half a dozen legal brothels in the state, said that Trump was his mentor and inspiration.

"It's all because Donald Trump was the Christopher Columbus for me," Hof told the Associated Press in a phone call. "He found the way and I jumped on it."
Mr. Hof is so enthralled with President Trump that he even wrote a book named loosely after "The Art of the Deal." His is called "The Art of the Pimp."

Hof frequently refers to himself as "The Trump of Pahrump," too.

As far as his personal connections to the president, he has cozied up to Trump advisor Roger Stone and held rallies with him.

According to the Los Angeles Times, a lot of people didn't really want to vote for a pimp, but think it might be better than electing a Democrat.

“I did it to piss people off,” said Sean Hunt, a New County voter. “It’s the same reason I voted for Trump. I knew it would drive liberals crazy.”

Even though Nevada overall ended up going to Clinton in the last election, the county Hof is vying for went to Trump by more than 68%.

Due to his win, Hof will face off against Democrat Lesia Romanov in November in a heavily favored Republican district, meaning this guy could actually be voted into office.
