Nancy Pelosi's presser ends in a bang when shes accused of hating Trump: 'The president is a coward'

Shortly after Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced to the world on Thursday morning that President Donald Trump will face articles of impeachment from the House of Representatives, a reporter asked her if she hated the president.

This got under her skin a little bit. She pointed her finger at him, insulted at what he was implying, and went right back to the podium to deliver her answer even though she was already on her way out of the room. It was great.

Pelosi: I don't hate anybody. As a Catholic, we don't hate anybody, not anybody in the world. Do not accuse me.

Reporter: I did not accuse you, I asked.

Pelosi: You did, you did.

Reporter: Representative Collins said yesterday that Democrats are doing this simply because they don't like the guy.

This is where Pelosi lets him have it.

Pelosi: I think the president is a coward...when it comes to helping kids who are afraid of gun violence.

I think he is cruel when he doesn't help our DREAMers, of which we are very proud. I think he's in denial about the climate crisis. However that's about the election. Take it up in the election. This is about the Constitution of the United States and the facts that lead to his violation of oath of office. And, as a Catholic, I resent your using the word hate in a sentence that addresses me. I don't hate anyone. I was raised in a way that is a heart full of love and I pray for the president. I still pray for the president. I pray for the president all the time. So, don't mess with me when it comes to words like that.

Shortly afterwards Trump replied:

"Nancy Pelosi just had a nervous fit. She hates that we will soon have 182 great new judges and sooo much more. Stock Market and employment records. She says she “prays for the President.” I don’t believe her, not even close. Help the homeless in your district Nancy. USMCA?"
