If Trump and Pence are impeached, Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the House) becomes president

Tonight has been a really bad night for President Trump and this White House.

For the first time in the investigation, prosecutors allege that individual-1 (otherwise known as President Trump) has committed a felony.

Shortly after the announcement, and there are a string of filings coming out, with a lot of documents to back them up, Trump tweeted that the filings "totally clears the President."

He must not think he's president (a little sarcasm).

Speaking of which - and this is a very good point - the United States presidential line of succession dictates that if the President and Vice President are found unfit for office, then the Speaker of the House of Representatives becomes President.

We don't want to get ahead of ourselves too much here, but basically, if the Senate does decide to impeach Donald Trump, and Vice President Mike Pence is caught up in the allegations with him, then Nancy Pelosi would be president.

We just want that to sink in for a moment.

And, Pence going down with Trump can happen. Michael Flynn is a major tool in Mueller's investigation and Pence is on record as saying he knew nothing about Flynn's activities. If Mueller says Pence lied to him about this, he's Texas toast.

Even if this whole ordeal doesn't result in a conviction, it appears extremely unlikely that the Senate is going to be able to sweep this one under the rug. Trump being removed from office is a real possibility. The one key piece of information that we really want to know is, will Pence go down with Trump? Many are suggesting that he will.

Mueller can't release his final report soon enough! The suspense is incredible.
