Mike Pence just referred to Donald Trump as "my father" - and calls his wife "Mother"
Mike Pence sent out a Tweet, paid for by "Donald J. Trump for President INC." in which he seems to refer to Trump as "my father".
“We need you right now,” the campaign ad sent out through Pence's twitter feed read. “It’s going to take EVERY Patriot stepping up if we want to CRUSH Sleepy Joe’s dreams of turning America into a BIG GOVERNMENT SOCIALIST Nation.”
“I convinced my father to give you another chance, which is why he’s decided to EXTEND your PERSONAL 500%-MATCH OFFER FOR 1 MORE HOUR,” wrote Pence.
Brandy Zadrozny from NBC News tweeted a copy of the ad. In her tweet Zadrozny did offer a theory about the language used, however. Zadrozny suggested that the use of 'my father" could have resulted from a copy and paste from a previous ad meant to be sent from one of Trump's children.
In 2018 rumours began to circulate that Pence also refered to his wife, Karen, as "Mother".
Just after the innauguration, Stephen Rodrick of Rolling Stone reported, citing an unnammed legislator from Indiana, that at a dinner at the Governor's mansion, Pence shouted across the table to Karen “Mother, Mother, who prepared our meal this evening?”
