Joe Biden is in the streets meeting with protesters as Trump hides inside the White House
Former Vice President Joe Biden was just spotted meeting with protesters over the weekend, while it was being reported that President Trump wouldn't be leaving the safety of the White House until at least tomorrow.
Here was Biden's message to those he came across:
"We are a nation in pain, but we must not allow this pain to destroy us. We are a nation enraged, but we cannot allow our rage to consume us. We are a nation exhausted, but we will not allow our exhaustion to defeat us. The only way to bear this pain is to turn all that anguish to purpose."
Biden also made sure to meet with the small business owners that have been impacted by the protests, something even Trump and Republicans say needs to stop.
For a moment, it feels like he's already president while Trump has already been voted out. Maybe this is a small glimpse of the near-term future.
This is another bad look for Trump. There's five months to the election and technically every moment matters in the minds of voters. If this is what Trump is doing during campaign season, that's a major problem.
Instead, Trump decided to tweet all day. He called ANTIFA, even though it's not actually a group, a terrorist organization and also encouraged that the "good guys" use more "overwhelming force against the bad guys."
Here are some more of Biden's interactions with real people on the ground. Video was captured of protesters asking him to please save them from the "crazy guy" in office.
