Colin Powell announces he's voting for Joe Biden and Trump has a hissy fit (VIDEO)

Former Republican Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Sunday that he's going to be voting for Joe Biden. One of his reasons is due to President Trump "drifting away" from the Constitution.

"We have a Constitution. And we have to follow that Constitution. And the President has drifted away from it," Powell told CNN's Jake Tapper.

"One word I have to use with respect to what he's been doing for the last several years, and it's a word I never would have used before with any of the four presidents I've worked for, he lies. He lies about things and he gets away with it because people will not hold him accountable."

Trump went on to accuse the president of being "offensive to our allies" and praised the former generals and admirals who are now speaking out against him.

Colin Powell is still extremely influential and powerful in conservative circles, so Powell's endorsement of Biden is not a good look for a Republican president.

When Trump heard of the news, he lashed out in the same way he does against anybody who dares say negative things about him:

"Colin Powell, a real stiff who was very responsible for getting us into the disastrous Middle East Wars, just announced he will be voting for another stiff, Sleepy Joe Biden. Didn’t Powell say that Iraq had “weapons of mass destruction?” They didn’t, but off we went to WAR!"
